Hopefully good news for anyone getting a tax refund this year, the prices of solar panels are going down. Not plummeting like the prices at Circuit City’s going out of business sale, but they are getting better. “Retail, two months ago was at$6.50 a watt,” said Daniel Bowes, owner of West Virginia Solar in Philippi. “It has dropped down to less than $5 a watt.”
